District Meeting of Devon & Cornwall 2017

The Annual District Meeting of Devon and Cornwall will be held at the Mount Edgcumbe Masonic Hall, Citadel Road, Plymouth PL1 2NG on Saturday 15th July 2017 at 1115hrs.    The meeting is one week later than normal to avoid several clashes with other events.  Coffee will be available from 1000hrs and lunch will be at 1300hrs.

The menu has not been published but will be £18.00 per head.

The Derek Mortimore Council 301, the Installed Masters Council, will meet in conjunction with the Sir Francis Drake Council 48’s regular meeting.   All will commence at 1700hrs, and at the same venue, on the Friday evening prior to the District Meeting.  48 will conduct a RM and 301 will conduct the Silver Trowel Degree.

District Meeting of Wyvern 2017

The Annual District Meeting of Wyvern will be held at the Masonic Hall, 221 Alchester Road South, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 6DT on Saturday 1st March 2017 at 1100hrs.  Coffee will be available from 0930hrs and lunch will be at 1300hrs.

The menu is Melon Fantaise, Deep Fried Cod, Peaches & Ice Cream and Coffee.  The cost is £25.00 per head, inclusive of wine.

Prince Rupert 335 Consecration

On Wednesday 31st May 2017, the Prince Rupert Council 335 will be consecrated at 1100hrs by the M Ill Grand Master in the District of North Midlands.

The venue is the Masonic Hall, The Avenue, London Road, NEWARK on TRENT NG24 1ST.

William Wilberforce 334 – three new members

William Wilberforce Council 334 held it’s first meeting, following their recent Consecration, on Thursday 23rd March 2017.  By coincidence, it was also their Installation.

Had everything gone to plan, four would have been Chosen as Select Masters but only three could attend.  The new members are David Robert Clancey, Christopher Bond Lefevre and Kenneth Robert Eyre.  Andrew James Pittaway will be become a member at a later date.

District Meeting of East Midlands 2017

This is a re-scheduled meeting and is set for Saturday 22nd July 2017 at Freemasons’ Hall, Sheaf Close, NORTHAMPTON.

The current District Grand Master, Rt Ill Comp Michael Bellian Jolley will be retiring after 10 years of service.  The Grand Master, M Ill Comp Kessick John Jones will be installing V Ill Comp Martin John Wilson as the new District Grand Master.

Coffee will be available from 0930hrs with lunch (including table wine/soft drinks and pre-lunch drink) at about 1330hrs.

The meal will be Melon and Palma Ham, Baked Salmon Supreme with Salad and New Potatoes, Fresh Fruit Salad and Cream, Coffee and Mints at a cost of £25.00 per head.Further details will follow as soon as possible.

District Meeting of Essex 2017

The Annual District Meeting of Essex will be held at Saxon Hall, Aviation Way, Southend-on-Sea SS2 6UN on Thursday 6th July 2017 at 1600hrs.  Coffee will be available from 1430hrs and dinner will be at 1830hrs.

The menu is Deep Fried Garlic Mushrooms with a Spicy Dipping Sauce, Slow Roast Rolled Saddle of Lamb stuffed with Sausage Meat and Rosemary with roast potatoes, peas and carrots followed by Cheese and Biscuits.  The cost is £30.00 per head, inclusive of wine.

Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales 2017

The Annual District Meeting of Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales will be held at the Freemasons’ Hall, Plough Lane, Christleton, Chester CH3 7PT on Saturday 27th May 2017 at 1115hrs.  Coffee and tea will be available before the meeting.

The King David Council of Installed Masters 307 will be holding their Installation meeting at 0900hrs prior to the District meeting.

The menu for lunch is Pâte followed by Grilled Cod Loin, Mediterranean Vegetables and New Potatoes.  Dessert will be Old English Trifle followed by Tea or Coffee with Cream.  The cost is £22.00 per head, inclusive of wine.

William Wilberforce 334 Consecration

Originally conceived by the now deceased Ill Comp William Frank Brown PAGDC Deputy DGM, the William Wilberforce Council 334 was consecrated at Trinity Lane, Beverley on Tuesday 31st January 2017.  The Consecrating Officer was M Ill Comp Kessick John Jones GM and the Installing Officer was R Ill Comp Neil Thomas Woodward DGM.  Click here to see an image of the Founders and Consecrating / Installation team.

District Meeting of Warwickshire

The Annual Meeting of the District of Warwickshire will be held at The Masonic Hall, Church Walk, Elsee Road, Rugby CV21 3BA on Saturday 5th November 2016, starting at 1115hrs.  Companions to be seated by 1100hrs.

The lunch menu is Fish Cake and Salad with Tartare Sauce, Pork Steak with Stem Ginger Sauce, Batton Carrots, Buttered Garden Peas and Mashed Potatoes.  If there is room left, you can follow with Apple and Peach Pancake with Vanilla Ice Cream or Cheese served with Savoury Biscuits, Celery and Butter.  All for the price of £25.00 per person, inclusive of wine.
